Mimi Cernyar Fox holds a bachelor's degree from Pacific NW College of Art (where she also taught), and a master's degree from Washington State University. She has shown her drawings, paintings and installations at Gallerie Etienne de Causans (Paris, France), at Blackfish Gallery (Portland, Oregon), J. Pepin Art Gallery (Portland), and Gallery 110, (Seattle).
There is a unity of all that is, an undivided flowing from single center or source that I can feel but cannot explain. I use a variety of methods to express what my experiences mean to me. A step back from the painting and back in time generates an emotional impact. The result of the emotional expression reflects itself in the combination of objects, paint, collage and drawing left on canvas.
